Thinking of a New Heating & Cooling System?

Before investing in a new heating & cooling system, make sure that it will work efficiently in your home. Let Ground Source Contractors inspect your home for potential problem areas that will keep you comfortable, and save you money. They believe in geothermal energy which helps you use money efficiently. And unlike many new “green energy” companies, we have more than 20 years of experience installing and maintaining geothermal systems.

How Energy-Efficient Is Your Home?

Are you getting the most from your heating and cooling system? Ground Source Contractors can test and inspect your home, and help you find ways to maximize your comfort and minimize utility bills.

The marvelous technology of geothermal energy relies primarily on the Earth’s natural thermal energy to heat and cool a house or multi-family dwelling. The only additional energy required is a small amount of electricity to concentrate what Mother Nature provides and circulate high-quality heating and cooling throughout the home.

Geothermal heating and cooling is very cost effective because it uses energy so efficiently. This makes it very environmentally friendly, too – and that’s why it’s endorsed by federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.

Another service we offer is Infiltrometer testing (also known as “blower door” testing). This test will tell you how tight or lose your home is. A home that is too tight will not have enough air changes for proper health. One that is too loose (which is what we find in most cases) will cause high utility bills, rooms that are hard to heat or cool, and/or high levels of dust.

To find out how efficient your heating and cooling system is working, give Ground Source Contractors a call.
